Ah the Power of Poetry, the Power of Women. My heart aches for their lost voices and I revel in their company and to listen to them talk on end (keeping my damn mouth shut!).

Your story reminds me of that of Maria Mitchell as outlined in Maria Popova's book "Figuring".
