Discover more from augmented’s journey
It is about the creative process and self-expression - things I love exploring as a poet. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I'm so excited to share every step of it with you.
What is augmented's journey?
This is a newsletter about #artinDATAspace, hosted by the Power of Poetry publication - an online community for poetry. In this place, people of all ages and cultures can connect through words. We believe that poetry is more than just lines on a page. It can use imagery and language in ways that transcend conventional art forms to create an emotional experience for the reader.
I'm posting poetry and writing prompts through this newsletter to help you connect with and creatively draw from your inner self.
You may be the artist behind the poem or use it as an excuse to express yourself. I hope this helps you find whatever you have been searching for.
I want to make this as easy and intuitive as possible so you can get what you need immediately. The newsletter aims to connect people through poetry as a creative practice and share examples of how different poems touch different people.
I hope you enjoy this literary endeavor and want to be part of it!
"I've been waiting my whole life to write poetry."
Wearing a rhinestone tiara on my dirty hair
The ghost of champagne rest on the bathroom floor
I thought I'd seen everything, seen all the sorrow in this world.
I opened the door.
Saw you.
I think I know what it's like to be a poet, but more so, know what it's like to be with a poet.
Along with the official newsletter, we have our little community on Tumblr. If you're not already following us, check us out at: https://thepowerofpoetry.tumblr.com/
