I swallowed the sun and became yellow
My skin buzzes with contradictions
You ask why I'm laughing while I cry
Happiness and pain share the same shade

Red isn't just a color, it's a fever
I'm burning up with memories and maybes
You see my flushed cheeks and assume passion
But it might be rage, or shame, or love
